Hot Insulation

Hot Insulation will be Applied to Vessels / Equipment and Piping at Temp Ranging 50c to 1250c and Above. When Heat loss is Desired, where Heat loss is Restricted, Full Heat Conservation Insulation will be applied, even where the operating temperature is below 50 Degree Celsius.

General Application Methods

  • Cleaning Rust and Dust to be insulated surface with Wire Brush
  • Application of Hot Insulation Service / Materials with One side Wiremesh
  • Stitching Joints tightly with lacing Wire
  • Metal Fished with cladding sheet with proper grooved with joint on water proofing and for reinforcement with self tapping screw or SDS Screw or POP Rivet

The Material Used for Hot Insulation

  • Light Resin Bonded Wool : Rock Wool / Stonewool = up to 700 Degree Celsius
  • Calcium Silicate : up to 1200 Degree Celsius
  • FiberGlass Wool : up to 500 Degree Celsius
  • Cerawool : up to 1250 Degree Celsius
  • Perlite : up to 1200 Degree Celsius
